Laughter is the Best Medicine

Sometimes the act of getting to the gym with small children is as hard or harder than the workout itself. Here’s a short film about the calamities a mom faces when trying to get to the gym. It’s based on a true story; laughable now, but not so funny in the moment. Have any similar anecdotes to share? Sometimes laughter is the best medicine!

  1. Oh the life of a mother! Thankfully we have running, cycling and wine to keep us happy …

My most recent story is a bit of the opposite. I’ve avoided the childcare center at our gym for the last five years as I figured my youngest would protest like my oldest did when she was young. We went to the club the other day and she asked me why we don’t go more often… No two kids are the same, are they? I’ve been missing out on a lot of workout time!
